Laugo Arms Czechoslovakia is a premium firearms manufacturer operated by dedicated professionals who had the vision to change the firearms industry. Dissatisfied with manufacturers who were producing the same designs over and over again, the founders instead wanted to think outside of box with no boundaries or limitation. By utilizing the best technology, manufacturing, and engineering processes available, the Laugo Arms CZ team set out to deliver the future to discerning competitive shooters and firearm enthusiasts. The mission was simple: To make the best firearms in the world.
The story started in 2001 when in Trenčín (Roman: Laugaricio), a group of passionate firearms designers founded an independent design firm. After initial success with their M8A SMG platform, Laugo Arms joined forces with CZ to adapt the M8A into mass production. This project would ultimately become the CZ Scorpion EVO 3. However, the world of mass production and obsolete designs soon became limiting, and in 2013, Laugo ceased its cooperation with CZ.
In 2017, Laugo Arms Czechoslovakia s.r.o. moved its operations to Prague become a fully integrated firearms manufacturing company. By then, the original Laugo team had grown. Chief designer, Ján Lučanský, was joined by competition shooter and investor, Daniel Selichar, and former CZ marketing director, Ondřej Poděl. Since then, the Laugo Arms CZ team has been dedicated to the design and manufacture of high end, revolutionary firearms.
